It was 23 years ago today that my mother birthed all 10 pounds of my little baby self, AKA: the greatest day of all time. Although one might not have had much hope for me, seeing as how as a tiny tot I had quite a list of defects: Before I even took my first breath I was already suffering from the hardships of this world as my mom's genius doctor cut a bit too deep during her C-Section and sliced my cheek wide open, creating quite the battle wound. Next I got Bells Palsy, which paralyzed half my face and about doubled the amount of drool coming from my mouth. Add that to having to have tubes in my ears, baby acne, and constantly getting smacked in the face and breaking teeth, let's just say I wasn't winning any baby beauty pageants.
But fear not, for the ugly duckling eventually grew out of all her biker baby symptoms (except for my scar on my cheek that I am yet to fashion a reasonable exciting bar fight story for), stopped running into doors, and has grown into a 23 year old college graduate with enough free time to decide that she wanted to write a blog about her super exciting life of a twenty something white girl in Utah. Then i thought about it again and realized my life is really not exciting in the least bit these days, but I do have many fascinating stories to tell...
So, I present to you, the sweet life of Shanna in blog form, Shannasweetness
